Joseph Holden

Dr. Joseph Holden, is the President, co-founder (with Norman L. Geisler) and professor of Theology and apologetics at Veritas International University located in Santa Ana, California. He received his PhD in Theology from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David (Lampeter, Wales) and his M.Div. in apologetics from Southern Evangelical Seminary (NC). In addition, Joe is the general editor of the Defending Inerrancy initiative that promotes awareness of biblical inerrancy among evangelical scholars and Christian lay-persons. He is also the editor, author or co-author of several apologetics and archaeology books including his most recent work The Harvest Handbook of Apologetics (2019); The Popular Handbook of Archaeology and the Bible: Discoveries that Confirm the Reliability of the Scriptures (2013). He is also an associate editor and contributor to The Apologetics Study Bible for Students (2010), and co-author of Charts of Apologetics and Christian Evidences (2006) and Living Loud: Defending Your Faith (2002). He is also a co-editor of the forthcoming book The Harvest Handbook of Bible Lands: A Panoramic Survey of the History, Geography and Culture of the Scriptures (Harvest House Publishers, 2020).
